My name is C8E -- (pronounced "Katy") -- I also go by "Cat", "Rainbow", and "Lloyd". 

I am what Earthlings call an "artist", though where I come from we have much more accurate titles, such as "purveyor of the fantastical" or "warrior of imagination"! You might think of me as the girl who makes funny faces and talks to herself while she works, but that's a sad misrepresentation of my creative process. I'm not talking to myself. I'm embroiled in the creation of a story, or a new character, and am trying to get a better feel for the flow.

Before you ask, yes, I'm always embroiled in creation. That's why I wear a frying pan on my head; because there's always something cooking in my brain.

 

My niche in the creation station of artist-ness is world building, character design, and 2D traditional animation. I make cartoon movies, write novellas and short narratives, dabble in the occasional poem, and am currently illustrating a graphic novel series and crafting a computer game at the same time. My creations are almost entirely original; either invented by yours truly, spun off of the indie creations of my friends and siblings, or made in collaboration with those aforementioned friends and siblings. All my stories are centered in Continuum-8; a galaxy of my own invention where I am the chronicler. At present, the galaxy is populated by 5 different systems and 11 planets.

Unfortunately, I couldn't fit everything here since Wix has limited space and doesn't (as of yet) offer the formats I wanted for certain things. So, my art gallery and character wiki are located on external websites that showcase them properly, but no worries, you'll be able to reach them from here. Off-site links are blue and marked by the logo of the website they link to.
